is determined

eight straight forward steps
that are easier than your average rebate
After the closing of escrow your real estate agent
gives you your Cash Reward certificate. To complete
the Certificate Registration process you:
- Sign and make a copy of the front and back of
the Cash Reward certificate.
- Complete a customer acknowledgement form and
copy the front and back of it.
- Mail the copies of the Cash Reward certificate
and the customer acknowledgment form via certified
mail to the ITPA within 7 calendar days
of the issue date of your Cash
Reward certificate.
*Make sure to keep your return certified mail receipt
as you need it for the redemption process.
That's all it takes to complete the registration process.
On the face of your cash reward
certificate is the "issue
date". At the end of 36 full calendar months from the
issue date of your Cash Reward certificate it's time
to claim your Cash Reward. Here's how it's done.
During the first calendar
week (7 days including weekends) of the first full
month (37th month from your "issue
date") you must do the following:
- Mail your original Cash Reward certificate to
the ITPA
- Include the certified mail postal receipt you
received at the time of the certification registration
process
- Enclose a legible copy of your HUD-1 closing
statement from your escrow when you sold your home
- Enclose your proof of identity via a legible
copy of your birth certificate that has been certified
by the register of births
- Include a utility invoice for water, electricity,
telephone or mobile phone, or you may send a current
bank statement in your name (you can obliterate
account numbers). Whatever you decide to send must
show a billing date or statement date within 90 days
of the date you mailed your claim.
That's it — you've successfully
completed the steps required to claim your Cash Reward!

What happens to unclaimed Cash
Rewards?
