Scholarships
After many years of being rewarded by our clients
in the community, it has become time to give back some
of the resources we have received. Every year, the
Morawski Team awards several scholarships to graduating
High School seniors who are continuing their education
at an out of the area college.
Scholarship Recipients:
2003 — The Johnson Family, Schaumburg, IL
2004 — The Cassasa Family, Crystal Lake, IL
The Lacki Family, Hoffman Estates, IL
2005 — The Buckley Family, Schaumburg, IL
2006 — The Martinelli Family, Schaumburg, IL |
| We received the following letter from one of the Scholarship recipients: |
Dear Mr. Morawski and Team,
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how thankful I am for the scholarship you have given me. When I heard the news, I started jumping up and down for joy because the scholarship brought me one step closer to paying off my college tuition. It turns out that I will be attending Georgetown University in the fall, which is a huge financial burden, but my parents and I are working our way through it and believe it will all turn out well. I absolutely cannot wait to be living on campus in Washington, D.C. and I cannot believe that I am actually going to the school that I always dreamed about. Thank you so much! I've been doing a lot of stuff for school this summer, buying things for my dorm, registering for classes, just finding about more information about what goes on at Georgetown. I love every minute I spend getting ready for school and everything about Georgetown that I've learned so far is great. I will be in the business school, where right now my major is International Business, but it doesn't have to be officially declared until junior year. I am also considering double majoring in International Business and Finance. But that, only the future can tell.
This summer I was in Germany for three weeks. I stayed with a friend of mine who lives in Munich, and I had the time of my life there. I love different cultures and different ways of life; it's so interesting that we are people in this world, yet we all live in such different ways. I also picked up some German while I was there, where was nice. I just love foreign language. By the time I graduate I hope to speak French, Polish and German fluently. I already speak Polish fluently, and with French I am almost there. I spent last summer in France and I studied it for six years in junior high and high school. With German I just started my senior year, but this trip definitely inspired me to learn even more. I hope I can do it, but I know I can. I also have other German friends coming to stay with me actually very soon, on July 27th. And they don’t leave until a day before I leave for school, which is kind of hectic. But, I'm known for being a really busy person, so I know I will manage. School doesn't start until September 1st, but I'm going in a week early because I joined this cultural awareness leadership club call Y-lead. I cannot wait to go to school, and I know it will be hard, but I am willing to accept the challenge to get the education I've always dreamed of. Thank you once again!
Sincerely,
Catherine Lacki
